Well, mum finally rang to say she would be delighted to have me care for her son 3 days a week, starting September! I'm really looking forward to it...feels like my first "real" proper contract, as all my other mindees are friends/neighbours at the mo. We are meeting again in 3 weeks to go through contract/policies etc and finalise some days for settling in...was really chuffed as mum said on the phone today "I was really nervous about leaving him, but I'm actually looking forward to it now". That really made me smile as she must have felt really comfortable and confident in my ability to provide good care for her baby! :clapping:
