New Mindee :)

Hello everyone xx

A new mindee (14months old) started yesterday. He has moved to England from Italy and the poor little mite isn't well! He has a nasty cold and just cries all the time. Its such hard work - not well, new people, new country, new language etc, must be so hard for him! He has fought sleep for ages but is asleep now and I only have him until midday today which is OK. I feel bad telling the parents that he isnt well and I dont think its fair to send him to me tomorrow if he is like this....He has only just started! He was given Neurofen before coming to me so it sleepy bless him.

hope he's better soon and settles in well, must be quite daunting, new home new country etc

oh it'll all be so strange to him bless - plus he'll be hearing a new language he doesn't understand. I'm sure you'll be able to provide the comfort and security he needs though.

Maybe work with mum on a few basic italian words to comfort him with?
