View Full Version : Any good suggestions for me :-)

I am minding a 6 month old and he is obviously at the trying to sit up stage. The bouncer chair is becoming not suitable for him because of this. HAs anyone got any suggestions of what i can go out and buy for him so he can sit up and play happliy and be safe?

I know lots of people use Bumbo's, or those blow up doughnut rings.....

Yeah i did that today at the childrens centre and he looked content. Was just wondering if there was any other good suggestions before i go out and buy soe cushions for him on saturday :)

those ring things are good but i wouldnt go out and spend money, at that stage i just use the cushions off my sofa!

I would use the cushions off my sofa too he wont need them for long

The rings are great as i had one for my 2 lil ones :) but like all the others say cushions are just as good storing it was a nightmare and the activity gym kept falling off all the time it drove me nuts !! :)

Unless you can get a cheap ring or bumbo from a car boot, ebay etc, I would go with what all the other ladies are saying and just use cushions also. They really aren't in this stage for long.

Just cushions around him... anyway in 2 months time you won't need anymore.

I used my giant cuddly toy dogs as child would sit between the front & back legs nice & snuggly

Cushions, when he doesnt need support anymore you can just use them as cushions or for games.
