crb check for partner

what affects a crb check? i want to get a crb for my partner but he has `spent` criminal activity. nothing major jus silly things from when he was about 20 and younger, about 6 ish years ago. does this make a difference? iv tried to look it up but cant find anything so if anyone can direct me in the right direction it would be much appriciated. thanks. :-)

All he can do is be honest on the forms. Ofsted may want to speak to him about it. You can't do anything but try really. I know quite a few people have had past problems on OH's CRB's and it's worked out ok.
