Risk assessing other minders houses?

Hi all, me again!

I know i am probably on risk assessment overload now but as the title suggests... do we have to risk assess other childminders houses? And if so, in how much depth?!

I meet up with other minders and their mindees at least once a week (usually out and about but sometimes at each others houses), it is in the children's daily communication books so am just wondering whether the big O will comment on it?

I would ask for a copy of their house risk assesments to put in your file.
I would add anything that I felt was missing and make notes if anything changes ie: new kitchen fitted, stair gate removed etc.
