I've just done my EYFS training... and I am very enthused. Just making up my new 'Learning Diaries' for each individual child.

I would welcome your comments - and hopefully improvements on a poem I have quickly written to 'try to encourage Parents to make a written comment'. Some Parents are brilliant at this - others seem reluctant.

So.......

This is My Diary
I'll read this someday
Please write in your comments
Share your thoughts on my day
OR
Share my laughs and my play
OR
Share your thoughts and my play
Because in years to come
my interest will be
what Mum and Dad wrote
about 'Smart Little Me'.

Has anybody made up something better ???? Please say yes !!

Anybody interested in sharing EYFS paperwork given to them by their Local Authority. Please PM me if you would like to look at what the south west are using.

Thanks everyone.

I have to admit I did this in maybe 2 mins.

Thought you would all have something much better and feel quite 'shy' at your lovely comments.

I would be very honoured if you would like to use it. Please do - thank you!

I didn't realise you would all be so keen to share paperwork.
Please give me a few days to either scan or transfer this paperwork into the computer and then will send it all out to you.

Oh Smartie, what a lovely verse. ( I also think the 1st line is the best) It is going on my new folders (with your kind permission )I think it is so apt and hopefully will make Parents realise all this extra paperwork is for the benefit of their children and will add their comments for the child to read in years to come.
I too would like paperwork (when you get the chance ) I will pm you.
Thanks again
