If you get an assistant, does Ofsted have to come out?

As the title says, ill filling in the forms to have an assistant mean that OFE has to come to see you?


I am a childminder on maternity leave. I want to do OU course E105. I need to be working or volunteering to do the course. I though about asking my friend if I could register as her assistant and work with her, but I dont want to cause her to have an inspection.

Does anyoe know?

They didnt come out when I registered my assistant.

they didn't when I registered mine - and gave me an extra 2 on my numbers - I sent mesurements of my rooms, list of what resources I had etc

they came out to see me but i think it was to do with the extra room i asked for sleeping in

they didnt come to see me and they increased my numbers by another 6 under 8 so we can now have 10 under 8

I have an assistant although im newly reg and they havnt increased my no's
