Have a page for him on your register.
When you sign the children in and out get him to sign himself in and out as well :D

Would I have to get mine to sign in even if he works the same hours as me? I haven't been doing but wonder now if I should. I've got Ofsted coming on Thursday this week so I need to do it quick if so!;)
Thanks xx
they told me that i have to keep a record of my assistants hours incase any reports of being over my numbers even though they are with me at the time

Just add him to your daily register and get him to sign in & out.
