Only on the letters page !!

Just tried to find it online to attach a link but I dont think they do the letters online.

Basically putting people right about what a childminder is and how those awful people who killed poor little Ryan were not childminders as claimed in the paper!!!

No apology though but a correction of facts anyway!!:clapping:

Agree. I'm going to email Elizabeth Cobbe back and tell her printing a letter is not good enough (well done though Helen, no offence) but we want an apology / correction.
I made my OH go and buy The Sun especially today to read the letter.

No, I am not on holiday in the sun but wish I was!! Lol

I dont think its enough that they just printed the letter, so I am not offended by anyone who thinks the same. There was no footnote to the letter from The Sun apologizing for their mistake or pointing out that these people were not childminders.

The article was almost full page and had a large screaming headline. This letter is on p43 and is tiny in comparison.

I have accepted the intervention and letter from Elizabeth Cobbe and am grateful we at least got that. But maybe someone else can take up the issue with her about the lack of apology and a lack of correction of the facts?

Time to share my lime light!!!!

I am emailing her right now and I hope others will do too to say that this is not a satisfactory conclusion.
