Toys in my playroom are becoming a bit old hat! Can anyone recommend toys or games that your mindees really enjoy?

Happyland seems to be a big hit at my house at the moment. I bought a new set from ELC and they love it. Also bought a new Wooden workbench recently and they have played endlessly with it. I have to say though that cardboard boxes are an equal favourite at ours and can involve all the children (EYFS and schoolies) Seems to be that no matter what you buy, the cardboard box is the most exciting.

Mine like Little people, Weebles, dolls, wedgits and they all love building dens. You can either use sheets out of your cupboard or you can pick up cheap throws for a couple of pound from Ikea. My mindees like to fill the dens with all my cushions and take the dolls and teddies in with them. They have been known to have their lunch in there too :D

Just going off topic slightly here  but for outside play the mindees love to draw all over the flags on the driveway with chalk (nice and easy to wash away, although it usually looks really nice and gets left for a while).
We do rangoli patterns on the flags for Diwali
They also really love painting with water! My shed, plant pots, fence, walls etc... are all really clean when they have finished  The little ones are amazed when the weather is warm (I can just about remember warm weather!) and the things they have drawn dissapear as they dry.
