Got this recipie from a course thats run in our school atm, was very easy to do

stir together 1 cup of plain flour, 1/2 a cup of salt and 1 level teaspoonful of cream of tartar (we used those measuring cup things)

add 1 tablespoonful of cooking oil and 1 cup of water and some food colouring

stir together and microwave (in a microwavable bowl) for 30 seconds, take out and stir it again, repeat this step every 30 seconds until its ready, (mine took 2 1/2 mins)

when it looks right and feels right its ready, be careful its hot at first

hope u all manage it :-)

I've just got to ask - being a homemade playdoh virgin!!- if you put food colouring in say, green, will it stain your hands green too!!

Ha, no silly!!! i made mine green and glittery, also have done red and blue

it apparently comes off the carpet better too, but my mindee so far hasnt dropped any or squashed it into the floor so havent tested that theory lol
