Ive found this link which may be of interest to you. Open University has a range of free courses.

I opened it once and was quite interested in one course and then it kicked me of (server not found) and now I can't access it all:(

Hi I am doing a course from www.vision2learn.com saw this on a previou post. Courses are free but not always available in some areas. I am doing equality and diversity at the moment good course and you get a certificate at the end. Sharon:jump for joy:

You'll probably have a dodgy cookie in your folder and when you try and access the site, it goes to the cookie, not the site... do you have something to clean out your cookies folder? I find www.ccleaner.com good... :D

Thank you. I think I might try something in a couple of months, some of them look good.

Reading the info there is no certificate, educational credit or qualification. But the course titles would still count to go on your lists of courses etc. I have attended seminars on different child-care subjects which do not have certificates at the end but are still in my lists of courses attended. There are different levels of difficulty so I think I will start with something on the introductory level.

I've just tried applying for 2 of the vision2learn ones and was told they're not available in my area... ah well! :(

thanks for that, what a shame you don't get a wee certificate but still, you can count it on your list of courses attended I am sure, cheers, there's a few i'd like to get on

Am loving the look of the courses but think I might try some of the OU ones as they seem a little more "bitesize" to begin with. Ta very much.
