Crb received by them on 7th May 2010 now at stage 1.
I'll update as things change

Hope its fast for you, mine took less than 4 weeks, went in 13th dec and was back on 6th jan so took less than that as xmas was in the middle :)

Stage 2 as of today. Hopefully this post will help others wondering how long the process takes. I have moved between 3 counties in the last few years though, so should think it'll be a while yet.

Ah mine were received on May 6th ... mine and my husband's are at stage 4 now but my stepdaughter's still on stage 1. I wonder what it depends on. How many CRBs are you waiting for?

It's just mine but i moved from Bedfordshire to Norfolk then to Cambridgeshire but i dont know if that would hold it up. The Ofsted lady on the phone told me she'd only had to write to 3 social services departments, only 3? How many is usual do you think lol?

Mine were received Apr 9th and went thru stages 1-3 same day.
Stage 4 is longest but even so,all in all they took 4half weeks total so not too bad.

If you havent moved around or live abroad its normally quite quick.

I'm hoping to be registered before end of aug so i can (fingers crossed) get some mindees for september school start but obviously it would be nice to be able to start sooner!

They have been doing essential maintenance on the crb tracking website twice since i sent my forms off i think its my fault lol i'm jinxed and still on stage 2!

Good luck, hope it is really fast for you. Mine was about 9 weeks but that was over 2 years ago now:)

I wasn't really worried about how long registration would take but now i have something i can track online it's annoying me that it's taking a while lol :rolleyes:

Stage 2 to stage 4 within the space of a few hours lol obviously sometimes it does pay to have a moan! Fingers crossed it won't be too long now.
