Hi, I should have put in a link to the spore project really. http://dougrhodehamel.wordpress.com/
They are made simply with a paper bag and a skewer. You make one to show the kids how to do it, then they carry on making hundreds of the things lol. If you go to the website you can see pics of them from all over the world, it's a kind of neat thing to get the kids thinking globally as well as being a fun art/sculpture activity.

Thanks.

I love them - now need to find the bags!

Where do I find them?

My DD, the arty teen, would love to help mindees do this too.

Those are lovely.

Would be a good project for the older ones to help the younger ones with in the holidays.

Have never heard of the spore project so will have a look at the website later

Thanks

Miffy xx

Any paper bag works - just save the ones you buy your apples in, or if all else fails 'EBAY' :D
