Hi, I'm new to this site and to childminding - still in the registration process.
I'm doing my induction standards training and am having trouble with my 'homework'.
It asks for three ways to deliver each of the 5 ECM outcomes in a childminding setting and my brain seems to have gone on strike!!!
Can somebody please point me in the right direction.

Thank you

what about trying to link each outcome to 3 of the areas of EYFS learning to guide you.

so for example, for economic wellbeing as an adult, they would need skills to get out to work so:

PSED
learning to mix, socialise, work/learn with others

a positive disposition to learn and do well at school

PSRN
learn to solve problems by themselves

CLL

learn to communicate their ideas with others

sorry haven't used exact EYFS wording as doing off the top of my head.

hope that helps.:D

How do you help children to be healthy?

Do you show them how to wash their hands?

Do you feed them healthy food?

Do you grow tomatoes in your garden?

How do you help children to be safe?

Do you have secure doors, fences and windows?

Are you aware of the Local Safeguarding Children Board and do you know when to call them?

Do you teach children about stranger danger or road safety?

How do you help children to enjoy and achieve...? etc :D
