Hi i have my first graded inspection next week and panicking!!!!!!
This is what i have in place:
1. policies, permission forms, contracts, risk assessments
2. Folder for each child with All about me and pictures and stuff they have done.
3. I have a book with themes we do each month and the activities we will do.
4. I have copies of questionnares and newsletters.

I feel i am missing loads more!! I dont do any obs or development stuff should i be?
If anyone could add to the list i would be grateful.
Local childminders are not helpful and dont really speak.

Thanks Hev xx

The biggie for Scottish inspections is to show how you are working closely with parents and supporting children because of this working.

After this first inspection you will have a much better idea of what to do next, so use it as a learning experience.

Good luck! :D

Yes, agree with Sarah, find ways to evidence you are working in partnership with parents, also have a note of things you are planning to do to improve your service, and ways you involve children in decision making. Don't get too worried though, if your parents and children are happy with your care that's the most important:D
