Well its finally over

I went for my CRB today, filled out the forms, and spoke to the vetting clerk, who said the visit from social services (i showed her the letter) won't affect me at all because they only came to see if they could help me in anyway and the case was closed after I said I could manage. Anyway, she said just wait until they hear from me now and at the moment the checks are taking 6-8weeks :clapping: so hopefully shouldn't be too long. My courses are starting this month and will be en-rolling onto them from wednesday. Thanks to you all for keeping me sane when I was worried lol :laughing:

I thought wow, because I was told 3-6months on the paperwork, but 6-8weeks by the vetting clerk. Lets hope its sooner rather then later hehe

As you are overseas, do you still have to have Ofsted come out to you, or do the MOD do other checks on your home, or have you gone through the checks you need to have except the CRB. Just interested in what happens

We have somebody from British Forces Early Years Service come out to do the inspections, they work alongside Ofsted over here x
