I posted my Ofsted form today so I have officially started the registration process! I already have my ICP and First Aid so we'll see how long it takes from now.
Thanks to everyone for the great advice I've received on this forum.

Fingers crossed for you.Mine went in in November, I had my visit January and everything finalised last week ready for this Monday to start.CRB seems to take the longest.Hope this gives you an idea of timescale and hope yours is quicker.

Thanks. I'm not in any rush but when I posted the forms I immediately felt nervous about the initial inspection lol

good luck mine only took 4 weeks from sending forms off to getting certificate and that included xmas so hope its not too long for you x

Well, I got a phone call from Ofsted today to tell me they have received my application form. The lady said that she's sending me my crb form to send off as they are outsourcing the inspectors at the moment so some people are getting inspected straight away while others are having to wait until further on in their registration. So now i have no idea how long i'll be waiting! At least they have it though.

I got my CRB forms on Friday and the letter says that the registration visit will take place 6-8 weeks from when they receive my CRB so hopefully i can post that this week and get the ball rolling.

Has anyone got a paper bag, I may hyperventilate!
I decided to start painting my kitchen today. Halfway through the first wall, my phone rings and it's Mrs. Ofsted! She wanted to do my inspection next week but as I'm just getting over flu I said is the week after ok? 9.45am on the 10th of May.

i'm sure all will be fine :) from the time of sending off my forms it only took 3 days before contacting me to book a visit 4 days later.
CRB is the one that defo takes the longest mine was about 5 wks all in all what makes me laugh is that i already had one but hey ho certifiacte here now and im ready to go whoop eeee xx
