Signing contracts for first mindee today and another tomorrow:jump for joy: Question for you lovely people.....

1st mindee starts 22nd april (week thurs) so I wanted to suggest to parents to drop him off for a couple of hours this week as he is only 5 mths bless! Now on the contract it says about start dates so I guess I am legally only insured from this date or can I had an extra date??

2nd mindee starts in July, but I want her to do a few mornings before then...so would I have to have these dates on contract.

Just want to do it all properly and cover myself and obviously the children.

Hope you understand cx

I'm with NCMA and use their contracts, there is a space for settling periods before the contract starts 'proper' iyswim, wouldn't this cover you?

Also if the settling sessions are less than two hours and no payment is exchanged would this help.

Def in both yours and the parents interests to have a settling session.

if you use ncma contracts it has a settling in period which you could put this weeks date into (i dont usually charge for this 2 hours)
