just spoke to the lady who suppied us with the eggs, as she was checking in to see how things had gone,

she is very sad we only ended up with 4 chicks so has offered us another batch for the october half term for FREE :eek: :clapping:

she said we should have had a minimum of 6 or 7

i told her were were happy that we have chicks at all but she insisted :D

no actually cos as they are babies they sleep alot :laughing: :thumbsup:

That was nice of her. My friend did this last year through a small local childrens farm, it was a lot cheaper and they supplied the stuff so may be worth a try if you have farms near you.

How did you get the discount? I emailed them, but they just quoted the standard £250 :( I'd love to do it, but... I think I'll have to stick with the tadpoles too :blush:
