What does everyone use in their sandpits/tables? I have just bought a step 2sand table and cannot find play sand anywhere!! My husband just said use normal sand but I thought the playsand was cleaned/bleached so as not to stain etc. I have tried elc, toys r us, b&q, wilkinsons, tesco, but nowhere has any, the kids have had water in the table today, but are getting desperate for sand. ;)

I got mine from argos. I use other stuff in the tray at other times aswell;
Cooked pasta
uncooked pasta
rice
jelly
oats
flour
gloop
gelli baff
lentils
soil
soap flakes

Have you tried to order through elc/toys r us online?

Thanks, I tried both toys r us and elc online and neither did it, off to have a look at argos.

Thanks for the other ideas of what to put in it, I have a large litter tray that I use for other messy stuff, but there are some great ideas there. :thumbsup:

silver sand from the builders yard is the same stuff as playsand apparently and it's a lot cheaper.
