I want to have a St Georges Day tea party with my mindees and my children. I want to go all out traditional english with cake stands and teapots!

Any ideas for simple traditional, english picniccy food? So far I have got little sandwiches shaped with cookie cutters and home made scones with jam and strawberries/raspberries.

Does anyone have any more ideas please?

Cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off (not sure how many will eat them). What a lovely idea for St Georges Day

I made fairy cakes with the children last yr using strawberry laces for the red crosses. They go down a treat!!
