Today i had an email come through from HM revenue
Not addressed to me, no address on it, no ref number, no phone number to call.

It said i had a tax return which THEY OWE ME of £988.99 GRB

I didn't even for one minute get excited, i was just very wary. All i had to do was click on a link to receive my money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I DIDN'T & just deleted the email. Do you think i did the right thing?

I think i;m gonna give HM revenue a call later today to inform them of whats happened, but like a dumbo i deleted the email

I get them through regularly, though they normally go straight to my spam folder and I don't even read them.

You just need to remember that HMR would never send you an email about something like that. It would always come in a letter.

Had one too, I was getting nearly £1000! Put the real thing on this afternoon and got to pay more than that!
