Capital Funding Grant !!

I rang my local council who conformed that there isnt any actual funding to be given to myself .

That insted of funding equipment is provided byt only to childminders who are mentors......They can show us but cannot provide any equipment :-/

They also said that the training that they provide is free and that the funding also goes towards that !!

Oh well was worth a try wasnt it

as soon as all the kiddies go back to school I'm gonna be ringing my local council to see if I'm entitled to anything!!

If i don't try I'll never know :)

That's a shame. I know in some areas you have to have been minding for a year, in other areas it's only for network minders.

What a pity they don't have the same rule for everyone :rolleyes:

Im under doncaster council who dont provide it and rotherham council a stonethrow away do :(

They use it for training etc and nursery's

Training is available to cm's free so we should be thankfull i suppose :)

in rotherham we had it towards training but a select few who are affilated with childrens centres good or above ofsted and working towards level 3 or higher.

i am still waiting sent appliction off in february
