I have just bought a GRACO STADIUM DUO TANDEM BUGGY and cant seem to get the hood to lay flat, i seems to be straining when i try to push it back i have removed it so i can try without it being fixed to the buggy but i still cant.

Anyone else had any problems??

do you mean when folding it? If so, and its the front hood, then you have to push it forward before you fold it.

I've had one for years, but they dont tell you that in the instructions!

I have had that problem. I think it comes with use unfortunately. I bought my tandem second hand when I had my second child. The problem was with the back hood. It was a bit stiff to start with and eventually the hood stopped folding altogether. I tried undoing everything, pressing hard but all I did was bent the metal rod it's on. I ended buying a spare hood from ebay. Luckily the hood was of exactly the same colour so it was perfect and it came with a spare front hood as well. I think it cost me about £10 plus p&p.

I use a buggy pod on mine - it takes a bit of fiddling to get the clips in the right place but I've had no problems once that was sorted
