hi all im a new childminder and just wondering if any one can help
i got my cerrtificate through other week or so and its says this on it
may care for no more than 4 childern under years
not more than 1 may be in the ealry years age group and of these not more then one may be under one
so im comfussed i have a 3 year old so she be in ( ealry years ?) which not in my cefiatfte?
so am i right i can have 2 more under that age ? only one can be 1? this right? as she said i can have 6
help please

Your own children are not included on your registration certificate. Hope that helps x

but does that mean i can have 4 more?
2 under 5s? and 2 over? will my son be in over 5s?
and lucy be in under one? shes 3

im as confused as you :) usually you get told you can only have 1 under 1 at a time i would personally ring ofsted to conrirm the amont of children your allowed to have

From what you have written it appears you can have one child in the early years age group and 3 over it. The child that you can have in the early years age group can be any age between birth and 5 as you do not have a child of your own under the age of 1.

However, I am a little confused and would recommend that you phone ofsted and clarify.

Do you have a very small house? It also goes off the size of space you have as well as your own children. Let us know what ofsted say?

hi it says that i can have one child in early years ( pluys m,y 3 year old) and only one under one
however it says under it
any 4-5year olds be full time proivding i not going over on elary years ( so i guessing thats my son classing as a over 5 some one says that sounds like a riseing in my cef

house big the lady said at pre preg hun
she said its fine
my sons 6 in sep but some one says hes classed as a full timex
