It's good to see that the snack time model is one which can be flexibly adapted to suit everyone.

I think when you consider the individual, the setting, the ages and stages of children etc it is hard to find a 'one size fits all' solution.

Perhaps it is easier when you are in a group setting where all the children are the same age to have a rolling snack time..? I have seen it work to good effect in older age rooms in nurseries... but then you also do get the child who forgets to eat and comes home ravenous an hour before tea :rolleyes:

Thank you for sharing the thinking behind Montessori as well Jen, I found that very interesting :D
