Done the 7 days a week before I had my own. Finish work on Friday at 5 and start again at 7 through till sunday night. Money fab but no life and no break from children. Nannying for 2 families at the time.

so you are now working from 5am - 10pm and Sat and Sun lunchtime to 10pm for the same parets? Sorry just trying to make sure I have this right.

Do these parent's not want to spend anytime with their child apart from taking child home put to bed, get child up and bring to you!!

Hope they are paying you loads.

oh dear, you should review it in a few weeks, when will you ever relax? When will you do anything yourself if you are working till 10pm every day?

Forgot to ask, how old is this child?
Will they be asleep most of the time, or will they be awake right up till home time at 10pm?

Are you mad? do you have your own children, mine would be less than impressed if I did that!

Have you considered getting nanny insurance, taking them to their house and putting them to bed, only cost me £29 to add to my insurance so I can do this for a family, admittedly I don't do it every night as my children need to go to bed and I found if mindees were still here they all thought it was playtime, and my husband didn't want kids up till that time, so when my husband gets home I take the children home.I was already on the voluntary register so ofsted were fine with it.

think that calls for an extra few weeks holiday per year on top of what you already have:idea:

You are a braver women than I am.

Make sure you take time for yourself and your family, don't burn yourself out.
This can be a very stressful and tiring job, you need time to recharge your batterries.

shes 7yrs and she dosn`t come untill 4.30pm weekdays and11.30am weekends but one of little ones comes at 5.00am. my partner is also registered so i can nip in the other room for half hour when i`ve had enough. she lives about 13 miles away so i won`t be taking home and tucking up in bed. anyway its only for the summer as her parents have a seasonal job so role on winter:laughing: an extra £200 per week will come in handy:D
