Just lost my youngest mindee, her parents are moving back to Nottingham. They have become an extension to our family and we are all upset. Just about to open the chocloates get another tissue and watch some daytime tv with my youngest daughter.

It is just a bad time two other families have stopped using my services as a parent was made redundant. Only left with a wonderful 13 year old in school holidays and how long before she is too old to need me?

Really worried about the future as advertising everywhere but all childminders in Murieston, Livingston are quiet.:panic: Keep my fingers crossed once nursery letters and wrap around care letters have been sent out in May. Just need to cut back until more enquries for start of 2010/11 term in August.

A worried and sad childminder

Sorry to hear that times are hard.... have you tried contacting social services also, perhaps you could work with them to offer respite for little ones that need a few hours a day?

Anotehr avenue to consider and would give you another string in your bow?

Good luck, chin up, Jen x
