Hi. A mindees Mum has recommended me to her friend who's after a babysitter in her own home. What do we have to do to do this? Do childminders have to let Ofsted know and how will our insurance work.? I'm through NCMA. Thanks

If you are babysitting then that is separate to childminding. If you want to be insured then as far as I'm aware you would have to organise this separately.

Ncma will cover you for babysitting provided you do a risk assessment and use their babysitting checklist.

Ncma will cover you for babysitting- you just need to complete one of their babysitting checklists, available if you call them.
