Hi Everyone,

just trying to get a feeler here. We are writing a Health and Safety Training Program (which includes risk assessment) for nurseries.
Of course this will have some general stuff but will be focussed on the preschool environment.

Has anyone done the Virtual College training? Was it good/bad? Is it too general? Do you need a childminding version? Would you pay for a childminding version?

Risk Assessment forms - There are some on the Bromley CMA site which are very good, simple, straight forward. Is there a requirement for a slightly more detailed version? I have written a nursery one which I could 'soften' for childminders - if there is a requirement.

Appreciate the feedback,
Iain:thumbsup:

I feel that there should be more aimed at specifically childminders though - we are different to pre-schools and a separate business (environment) type.

Haven't done the on-line training so can't comment on that and don't think I would want to pay for it - sorry!

Risk assessments - I'm not sure if you are talking about doing these to share with forum members or to sell to forum members. But as you say there are some on the bromley site that are straightforward and I think Sarahnev also sells a risk assessment book through her website.
