first aid course

hi i am due to renew my first aid course in the next few months i assume there is not a refresher course and you have to do the one we did before i have been looking on st johns website and it is quite expensive do you have to do this one or is there any others you can book on or do st johns do a reduced fee for childminders thanks

You have to do a full 12 hour course.

Round here they cost about £75.

yes mine is comming in £111. but i had a email from my child developement officer saying they are currently £35 FOR registered providers but i cant seem to find that

Here in Lancashire they cost £15 for the full course.
There again, we don't get to see any capital grant!

When we did ours we got it free at the local Sure Start centre, their staff were all due so they contacted Pauline and asked if we wanted to join them to make up the numbers, several other childminders in the area got in at the same time.

If you have a Sure Start centre in your area perhaps it's worth asking. :thumbsup:

We pay £10 for a 12 hour course run by Young in Herts(that is if you can get on one:angry:
