Looking for a double buggy only need it for short school runs 3 days a week so don't want to spent a fortune.

Saw this on Kiddicare http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_47_10751_-1_14051_44326_10001_14051

I'm tall and the handle height looks good but it doesn't come with a raincover - the reviews on the site seem ok, what do you think?

I haven't got one but it looks really good.

Am not surprised it is out of stock with that price reduction!

If you dont need it very often and dont want to spend much, then argos do one for £39.99 i think, will try to find a link....................

Another childminder has the one from Argos, she says its heavy and is thinking of taking ti back, she prefers her 3 wheeler. But for £39.99 its a bargain in my opinion :)

A childminder I know recently purchased this pushchair, said it is OK for occasional use as fairly heavy, also it did come with a rain cover although it didn't state in the advert.

My only worry with this one is the handle height it is almost 20cm lower than the kiddicare one. I'm 5' 9" so handle height is very important or I end up with a bad back ....... and I just look plain stupid like I'm pushing a childs pram

Boo hoo!! The kiddicare one was in stock this morning  Ah well! you snooze - you lose :(

That looks very cute :)

I just bought this one ( in black) it's a bit more than the other one, but not much when you get raincover and free del. http://www.boohoobaby.co.uk/prod_show.asp?id=43&cname=Pink&color_item_ID=32 and I cannot fault it! ( except I didn't get a free changing bag, but they partially refunded me for it, so hey ho :)

It steers well, doesn't veer, folds easily, and is sturdy but light enough to get about, roomy seats too, fits through my front door, HUGE plus!

Now this is loooooooads dearer http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/BruHome/BruTravel/BruTravelPushchairs/BruTravelPushchairsTwin/725544 but good handle height and you get footmuffs and everything. Since me mindees will be 6 months and 14 months I think I will need the footmuffs.

Just dont get the cheap Mothercare umbrella fold one, its awful :panic:

And the footmuffs, my daughter is 18 months and has been too big this winter for both footmuffs I have for her!

Im sure I saw another one with footmuffs that was cheaper, I will have a look about and get back to you!

I have the triple version of this double ( but in black) and I am really pleased with it.

I am 5ft 8 and can push it at ease.

Cant find the double with footmuffs that I saw the other day though!

I can't remember which website i saw these on but they were clips to hold 2 single buggie together. They were only cheap, was weondering if would work on the side of my double, but i think I'd struggle! It was a site mentioned on our forum- doesn't help much!
Just thought that if you had a single buggy u could maybe ask a parent to bring theirs too??? I don't know- its v late and I'm probably talking rubbish!!!!

Banana - that buggy looks really good...it looks quite wide though - how do you find getting through standard doorways etc?

Easy peasy becuase its so light and manouverable. It is wide but I am yet to be stuck at getting into a shop - just sometimes shop isles can be tricky but only in small shops. Also has an enourmous basket underneath!
