Homework support kits are free to download from the Every Child Matters website, might be useful to some of you :):
Homework support kits aim to help parents, carers and families of school-aged children to actively engage in their child's learning at home. They provide parents and carers with practical ideas, tools and resources to help make homework and learning part of their family routine. Each kit aims to encourage reading, showing, talking, active play, listening and coaching.
