Yes it will need to be kept chilled and then heated, bit like you would stored made up formula.

Think also that you should only keep it once heated for the same time as you would formula.

ask her!! I've known a few people who give their babies cold milk regularly so that if they're ever stuck for reheating ,the baby won't then refuse it, so you won't look like you don't know what you're doing if you ask ( if that's what worries you!).
My advise is ask whatever you're unsure of. Each baby is different with slightly different needs / routines. Most parents would be glad to answer any questions to ensure their lo is as happy as possible.

you should only warm it gently in a pan of hot water. just boil the kettle and fill a pot, pop the bottle in the water to heat slowly and gently. if you heat it in a microwave or boiling water then the enzymes in the milk are destroyed.

This website should answer everything http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/index.html I seem to remember you shouldn't shake it either.

I would ask mum what she does as all babies are different and i am sure mum would be happy that you have asked:)

With my expressed milk you have to shake it as it all separates and is a bit yucky! Maybe that's just me!
