This morning after the school run my mindee was taking her shoes off in the hall I went to help her and noticed a small puddle around her feet, stood her up and felt her trousers were wet. I felt terrible thinking i'd not checked or noticed her nappy was full and had leaked that much.

Went to change her only to find she wasn't wearing one, parents had forgotten to put one on:rolleyes: So went from feeling guilty to annoyed at having wee on my hallway carpet!:(

That annoys me as how can you forget to put one on. I have a parent who regularly brings her child to me at 7.30 am and i have to change his nappy as soon as he arrives as it is so heavy so it is obviously the night time one, he comes to me fully dressed i dont understand why she doesnt change his nappy when she gets him dressed

A couple of weeks ago she arrived with a totally saturated and solied nappy, leaked through to her clothing, no spare clothes in her bag...phoned dad who arrived with spare clothing in about 2 mins, no idea how he got here that quick actually!?

No...she wouldn't have been able to do the poppers up on her vest on her own!

DS2 can get a nappy off without undoing poppers on vest! Last night he also managed to get his sleep suit undone (which we put on backwards so it zips up the back) and his nappy off and was still fully dressed when he woke up soaking wet!!
Not much help I know but its amazing what is possible

I've forgotten to put nappies on my dd in the past I've just been so distracted with the other children, even did it at night too and she never woke up but in the morning the whole bed and her were soaked  How bad did I feel?
