I would like to share my gratitude with everyone.
This forum has been my lifeline for the past 2 years, although I don't have time to post much, I has been a great source of information and support.
However after 6 years of childminding I am away to the working world :o
I will be starting at the local nursery school after the Easter break :clapping:
This is just what I wanted as my children are both in school now, by the time they are in secondary school I would like to have my teaching degree and teach at early years level.
I can't wait!
I am sure I will still pop on here every now and then as well as continuing to recommend this site to anyone remotely interested!
Thank you all.

congratulations! if you're studying to do your PGCE you should pop in the OU forum whilst you do your degree studies, or do you have it already?

Thanks for that. Am going to get my head round SVQ 3 first, have never had the time to do it, but I will now be funded for it and be working less hours.

Thanks for your support everyone.
Funny thing is one of my parents asked me how many children I had to find new places for
I had prepared my parents for the possibility of me applying for the job before Christmas and all but this one have alternative care organised!
