Hi there :)

Just wanted to clarify something re: numbers and insurance for a friend, hope that's okay :)
If a minder is over their numbers (e.g. too many under 5's) then their insurance is invalidated, is that right? I'm pretty certain that is the case but just wanted to make sure.

i would say yes...after the reading ive been doing (im a newbie) but then someone recently said they were able to get an extention for an overlap?!

Yes definately that is right, her insurance will be invalidated unless she has had a variation for extra?

depends, if ofsted have granted she can have more than 3 under 5 then her insurance is absolutley fine and above board.

Hi, thanks for replying.
We are in Northern Ireland so we are registered with social services and I personally haven't heard of being able to apply for a variation so have no idea if this is the case here.
Will let my friend know, thanks again.
