I have written £5 per day late payment charge on my contracts. Never charged it yet though as I've only just started. I will if I have to though!

same here! and ive only had to use it once and so far not again.... they all know if theres a fair reason why they hadnt/ cant pay me if they talk to me about it and arrange something i will not put the late payment fee on but if they dont or that havent got a fair reason then tuff...

ps one parent did push me for an answer to why i charge and my reply was well I get a charge from my bank when thing come out and there nothing in there to pay it, usually dose the trick lol

Don't have one , but think it is a good idea, maybe just as a warning/ reminder if you have a slow/ late payers.

I charge £5 per child/per day including weekends. but I am seriously thinking of upping this to £10.

I don't give a reason, I just state that this is my late payment policy, which the parents sign to say they agree with when they sign contracts.
