I have twin boys who are 2 in April and they just rip books galore so I have had to restrict the book availability to hard back books only. When will I be able to introduce them to softer books without them being destroyed? I think I have about a dozen torn or pulled apart hard back books now. I have another mindee who is 4 and she loves looking through books but I can only give her one to look through away from the boys and watch carefully to put it away. On the days the twins are not with me I let her have access to the rest of the books I have but would love some sort of transportable system that I could wheel in and out of the room purposely for her.

I have a toy box which i put the box in then i rotate them every couple of weeks, the children help themselfs and ususaly manage to put them back again where as when i had the book shelf they got ignored and if they did comne out they never put them back again.

I have been looking for a kinderbox, but can't afford one atm. I spotted in argos a 4 cube unit that if tipped upside down and castors put on the bottom, is more or less the same size as the kinder boxes. It is about £30 + casters, so quite a bit cheapern than the kb's.

My friend has just ordered one of these but from TTS. She paid £109 too so no difference in the price. Sorry
