....a bit wrong...:laughing: :laughing:

after schoolers wanted to do a science project so I decided on swimming raisins for a start

well we measured the vinegar into the jar...filled it up with water just as per instruction...
mindee asked...can I add the baking soda....I said YES (what was I thinking)

....next thing I know is me shouting...get away from the table so you wont all get soaked....then I had to get the mop out...and clean the table and most of the living room floor...(but at least vinegar, water and baking soda makes a great cleaner)

we then sat down again and I said:
well children, and this is what a chemical reaction looks like...LOL

they were very happy with it all as you can imagine.

so we restarted the experiment very carefully and we had swimming raisins for more than an hour!!

oh what fun!

sounds like great fun, hope you had them all help you clean it up and took loads of pics for your obs as well :laughing: and you can now print them off as well xx

I took pics and the kids diaries are filled with pogo prints...

he loves mixing vinigar and soda to make an explosion - strictly outside of course.
