Aaaaahhhh..have not had an enquiry for as long as i can remember..as some of you know i was given notice on my current mindee and lose her in 4 weeks so need the work!
The phone has just gone and a lady has enquired about a place with me..i need 9am till 3pm and knowing it is very hard to find that kind of dismiss anything that may come through but she says 'can you do 9-15am until 3pm..i was like 'perfect' and said yes that's ideal..she then started asking me about school runs and if i did them to which i said yes but wouldnt be with her child as i left at 3pm that was why it was perfect..she seemed pleased with this..going good..she then asked my fees..i was too buisy thinking about school runs and said £4-50 per hour to which she said ok and i jumped in saying 'sorry £4 sorry have school runs in my head now'..duh..she then said her dd was celiac and did i deal with it..i said i hadn't but would be quite willing to look into it and sit down with her..she went through her dd's routine of toast preperation etc which was good and seemed happy i would accomodate..said dh was a chef so had heard of it etc..all ok..then she said could she come see me next week..i said yes and to let me know when was best..i then politely asked what job she was doing as she had talked about shifts etc to which she really stammered and hesitated for ages..then she said she didnt wish to tell me..i said no problems but then felt really off for some reason..like id'e done something wrong..the fact i have only one child on a thursday i think she wasn't keen on and then said it may be a fri but wouldnt mess me about it would be set if agreed..i said ok but feel like her dd will be on her own for poss 2 days instead of 1..although we do go out lots and see other people!
So will she ring me won't she..i dont have a good feeling tbh and am so cross with me for getting so useless when it comes to sorting things out..ahhh would be perfect too..fingers crossed!
