Hello
I am trying to think of ideas for Mothers Day cards and am not sure what to do (my mindees are all under 2!) so something simple is required.

Also does anyone have any sweet little poems for Mothers Day that I could borrow? I had a lovely one for Fathers Day last year that I could have adapted for Mothers Day but have lost it!

Thank you
Bex

This is my hand
My hand will do
A thousand loving things for you
You will remember when I am tall,
That once my hand was just this small.

and i love this poem

i got this one laminated from my daughter at nursery last year and I love it!

Here's my handprint Mummy
For you on Mother's Day.
It's something very special
and cannot fade away.
And each time that you look at it
I'm sure you will agree
There's a little piece of magic
In this handprint just from me.
I've placed my hand so carefully
For it's a work of art
It comes to you on Mother's Day
With love inside my heart.

Her hand print is at the bottom and on the back it says "To Mummy Love from ........" and then she wrote her name (not very well) for the first time ever!

It's one of my most cherished things she's bought home and it makes me cry everytime I read it

These handprint tulips have a poem to go with them:

http://www.dltk-teach.com/rhymes/marymary/handprint_tulips.htm

This isn't just a tulip as you can plainly see.
I made it with my hand which is part of me.
It comes with lots of love especially to say,
I hope you have a very, special Mothers Day!

I made up this one!

I am such a lucky girl/boy
To have you as my mum
And every day when I wake up
We start the day with fun

And when you have to go to work
I miss you lots each day
But home time comes around real quick
And it mummy time, yay!

I need a poem that isn't for handprints, it is to go on a sticky label with a homemade gift. Any ideas please? I don't want it to say boy/girl as I don't know how many there will be at group.
