View Full Version : Omelette in a Bag - Easy for Children to Make

28-02-2010, 07:51 PM
On my course yesterday the tutor mentioned omelettes in a bag (http://www.mrbreakfast.com/superdisplay.asp?recipeid=1076).

It is ideal to make with children as they can whisk their own eggs, chop or choose their own toppings then pop it all in a bag to make their own individual omelette.

Yes but did you see the warning about boiling the ziploc bags re the polyethelene in the bag and the boiling water.

Wonder if it similar to the effects of some cling film being in contact with food when it is microwaved?

It is on Netmums with comments from people who've made them.

I've not tried this yet, I forgot about it will I saw them mentioned on the Easter thread.

You could use one of those pans with four sections for poached eggs so the children could make their own individual omellete.

Just read the warning!

Looks like a RA is needed!

I'm waiting for mama2three to try it out first!
