I live in a rural village and we don’t have any asian shop of any kind around here. It’s the shape and style of the basket I like, for some reason I can’t paste the picture. The basket is round with a flat bottom and rounded low sides, hand woven with natural coloured pattern, African in style. Not very good at describing things. It’s more like a shallow bowl. Would like to use it as a point of interest where I could group collection of object linked to a theme or event. Idea came from Sarah’s book on baskets and bags.I saw one for sale a few weeks ago on line from a early years supplier but I can’t find it now, I know they also sold zulu bags.
