Im getting to the point where nearly all my mindees are in nappies and Im going through so many nappies that im running out of room in my bin! DH is not happy   Our bins are only collected once a fortnight. How do you get around this problem or is it just me?

Never really been an issue - can you get parents to take them home and put in their bin?

sneak 'em into the neighbours bins (the nappies not the children! lol)

I would perhaps consider asking the parents taking them

A friend of mine keeps them by the door and then puts them in the local bins when they go to the shops.

I just put them in my bin

We can get bags from the council to nappies in so they don't take up your bin space. might worth enquiring whether your council do the same.

Ask your council about collecting them as they are classed as clinical waste and so would and can be disposed of in the yellow bags and be collected weekly seperately from your household waste.

ooh, haven't heard of that before. Might investigate. do they then incinerate them or something instead of using the landfill. I looked into getting a home incinerator years ago but couldn't find anything that didn't cost thousands.

just checked our local council website about the clinical waste and they no longer collect and it has to be nhs...somehow i doubt they would collect nappies lol.
