I had my first grade inspection over a week ago now and Im so glad its over with. The inspection went on for over 4 1/2 hours, and despite it being my busiest day and my eldest daughter being off schoold because she "felt sick" I somehow managed to get a good grade. I forgot to wash the childrens hands before lunch and I had to juggle looking after 2 x 2 year olds and a baby plus my daughter shouting from upstairs that she felt she was going to throw up, but some how I scraped through and the inspector was impressed with what I had acheived so far with my setting and the children.

Luckily my daughter wasnt sick and after a sandwich felt much better but it was the most testing time as I couldnt go upstairs so she had to come down.

All I would say is make sure you have all your paper work out for the inspector to help themselves to as this made things far easier for me, and that your priority is the children not the inspector!

Cant wait to see what she has put in my report!:p x
