Has anyone else discovered the CPD - e learning section on the Nat Strats website?
http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/cpd
Might be good for newly registering minders as well

hi, i have started the e-learning (national strategies on developing communication & language,,,, lord its big and im making notes to underpin for when i do my ICAN Accreditation...
but
does any1 know if you get a certificate when ya finished???
it its 7 modules long and each module has prox 7 sections im only on 1.6 and got 8pages of notes already ...
shame to do so much work and not get a certificate but at least im brushing up and like i say it will help me with the accreditation later this year.
also who else has done any e-learning form national strategies i noticed they are FREE unlike some others that charge from £30-£50 each
thanks

OOh thanks for that - looks like a good site.
I met a lady from National Strategies the other week - she was the guest speaker at our county childminding conference. She's one of the most motivating and inspiring speakers I've heard
