Just for the record, I have never had an inspection in 15 years and they are now doing everyone in my area - most of the CM I know have had the call!
Not that I have any reason to worry , got my new pack for CM and doing it all already! Bring it on!!

I had a 'heads up' call from a cm friend in a nearby town who said they had turned up on her doorstep, so they are doing our area too (if it's different from yours :laughing: )

They haven't got as far as me yet but i'm already doing it.

Ah they're not a million miles away from you Sarah, I'm in Warrington and I had mine last week. Very nice guy by the way!

My partner works for our local council and he mentioned environmental health and childminding etc.. to his friend who is an inspector who just laughed and said our council is battling with employee and budget cuts at the moment and doubt's there will be funding allocated for inspecting childminders as they would need to employ more inspectors!!
