I ordered pogo - it's good - no trimming and gluing and I am away from the pc, while pic is printing I have looked up the obs - brill. BUT be careful I ordered extra paper thingies and they have a use by date on them - my "bargain" s arrived and use by last month GRRRR got from amazon - Jersey, so won't be sending them back - hope they will print ok - maybe I will get lines too... Soon see.

I was just reading some reviews about the expiry date and your lines problem Emma. Apparently they have to have a use by date by law but the papers will not be any different after that date. The solution to the lines was putting the blue paper through a few times!!! Now I haven't got one all of this doesn't mean much to me but I was reading the reviews through the amazon link on here so maybe if you do some hunting you may find the answers:D

I got mine the other day and I can use it with my blackberry but the usb cable is not the right size for my camera, but the pics from the phone came out such good quality may not bother with camera!

My pack of 10 pics were dated expiry 10/10 but still waiting on my two packs of 70.

Think I am going to love the pogo!

Liked the look of the new one with the inbuilt camera but not the price yet!

cost as its much cheaper to run at £10 for 70 sheets, and the fact that its instant so no waiting for prints to be processed. Oh, and they have sticky backs so great for sticking on obs

sold on it yet? :D

Where are you planning on getting another cable from?

WOW!!! I got mine yesterday, charged it up and the pic's are great. Just the right size for obs.:clapping: :clapping: And the quality is good. Great gadget.

The extra pack of zink papers I ordered was out of date though!! 01/10
I have e-mailed the Amazon seller for a replacement as I need them quick, going to be doing lots of printing this week being half term.

Highly recommended.

This is the review about the papers I keep reading on Amazon;

"I bought a Polaroid PoGo and also ordered this 70 pack of Zink paper with it. I was slightly concerned about the whole issue of expiry dates, after reading reviews on here and elsewhere - and, as predicted, when I received the package on 5 January, the date on the paper was end of Jan 2010!

However, the next day I phoned IJT (the supplier) and had a chat with a *very* kind and helpful man. Two things to note:

1. When I first started printing photos, my first few prints were horribly streaky, and I was really disappointed. I told the man this, and he told me that if I notice that a print hasn't come out great, run the blue card through on its own 2 or 3 times before printing any more, and this cleans the printer head. I did this and it worked! No more streaky prints!

2. I asked about expiry dates, and he said that the only reason they have expiry dates is because the EU classify the Zink paper (as with all ink cartridges) as a "consumable", and therefore by law they must put an expiry date on. However, he confirmed that the the Zink paper DOES NOT EXPIRE, because the crystals on the paper are activated by the heat from the printer, and they do not deteriorate in any other way (he really sounded like he knew what he was talking about). Hence - ignore the expiry date on the paper.

He also said that if I do find any problems with the paper after January, they would be happy for me to send it back and they would replace it.

Hopefully that is useful for some customers who are worried about it."

Hope that helps:thumbsup:

Sally, go for it, it has revolutionised the time spent printing/sticking etc in the Learning Journeys! My paper came from IJT too and expired 1/10 so i have just emailed them re this, but have used some today with no trouble, I have printed around 15 prints and only had it for a couple of days!

Arrhhhh!!!! I want one NOW!!!!!!

I don't do obs often as only have one reception child during hols, but I do a monthly upload to bonusprint of all mindees which I attach to newsletters and is very time consuming, so much so that I usually end up getting prints I don't even need as I can't be bothered to spend any more time on sorting individual pics!

This will be perfect!!! I won't actually save any money as Bonusprint is pretty cheap, but the amount of time I will save will be heavenly!!!

mmmmmm well you have sold it to me i want one now and thinking i could ask my DO if they will fund it for all B/pool c/m's... worth an e-mail to ask lol

if not i might go 1/3 with my m8s we work most days together and help each other with EYFS stuff and obs etc so why not share the costs...no point having 3 printers ..

thanks for the link will get through the shop so the forum will benefit too

i used my pogo properly this morning. I took 4 under 3's to the library. (I have a variation). Took the snaps on my camera, which felt less pretentious than pulling out a camera. They have printed out brilliantly and i have put a little picture into the diary of the 10 month old to put mums mind at rest because she (mum) is suffering from seperation anxiety.
